I think there is (or was) a power struggle going on between Ryan Murphy and Fox and Season 3 of Glee was a victim of it.
We know Kevin Reilly told him he wanted more guest stars and pop songs and tribute episodes and it seems pretty clear that one of the things the network also wanted was less gay PDA/affection. So what did we get in Season 3?
